To Live Courageously Interview (English)

What does it even mean to sell authentically?

In a world where businesses are eager to show up and throw up features before asking questions, it’s no wonder customers hesitate to connect with you.

That’s why you’ve got to commit to connecting authentically.

In this episode of the To Live Courageously podcast, I sat down with host Yuli Montes (@heyyulimontes), a fellow boricua and side hustler, to talk about how to show up for customers in this day and age.

… by remembering that you’re also a consumer and you also don’t like when people aggressively sell to you.

… by not selling at all, and instead focusing the spotlight on the person you’re connecting with and committing to helping them make a smart decision for themselves.

… by designing a process where the focus is on the customer’s ideal future instead of leading with a focus on features or added bonuses.

… by being thoughtful and selective in your process, because your product or service isn’t designed for just anyone.

… by committing first and foremost to making customers feel seen, heard, and understood.

This was one of my absolute favorite interviews, and I loved being able to show up as my whole self and even do the interview in my first language.

Gracias Yuli for this amazing opportunity to connect with you and your audience!
